Our story
Rosa Delgado spent eight years running housekeeping for a downtown Austin hotel. She loved the work and the people, but she watched talented housekeepers leave every year because of unpredictable hours and low pay.
In 2014 she started Brightwell with a simple idea: if cleaners are treated as skilled professionals, with steady schedules, real training and fair wages, clients get better, more consistent cleaning. The first year it was Rosa, her sister Lupe and a hatchback full of supplies cleaning homes in Travis Heights and Bouldin Creek.
Word spread neighbor to neighbor. Today Brightwell has 48 W-2 employees, a small office on East Cesar Chavez and crews serving eight cities from Georgetown to Buda. We still answer the phone ourselves, and Rosa still does a walkthrough with new crew leads.
